Because it never leaves your phone in the first place.
ToolWall has no servers, no account system, and no analytics. Your tools, photos and loan records are stored only on your device. We can't see them. Nobody can.
None. ToolWall does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on remote servers. The app does not have a backend, does not require an account, and does not track usage.
The information you enter into ToolWall — tool names, brands, models, serial numbers, purchase details, photos, condition notes, maintenance schedules and loan records — is saved locally in app storage on your iPhone. This data is governed by the standard iOS app sandbox: only ToolWall can read it, and it is included in your standard iCloud or iTunes device backups if you have those enabled.
When you delete the app from your device, this data is deleted along with it.
If you add a tool photo using the camera or photo library, ToolWall requests the necessary iOS permissions. Photos you attach to tools are stored inside ToolWall's app storage on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere.
If you enable maintenance reminders, ToolWall schedules local notifications through the iOS notification system. These are generated and delivered entirely on your device. No notification content is sent through any third-party server.
When you use the Export to CSV or Export Insurance Report (PDF) features, the export file is generated on your device. You then choose what to do with it via iOS share — email, Files, AirDrop, etc. ToolWall itself does not transmit the file anywhere.
ToolWall does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting or cloud sync service.
ToolWall does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. The app does not contain advertising or external links to social platforms.
