FlexTally is a simple time tracker for people who want to know exactly where their flex balance stands. Here's how to use it, and how to get in touch.

Common questions
How do I log a day's hours?
Tap any day card in the Log tab. The time picker slides up — scroll to set your start and end times, then close the sheet. Hours and flex are calculated automatically.
How do I add a break?
Expand the day card by tapping it, then tap "Add Break." Set the break's start and end time the same way you set your work times. Breaks are subtracted from your total automatically.
What's the difference between Week and Fortnight?
In Settings → Work Schedule, you can choose whether your flex balance resets weekly or fortnightly. Pick the one that matches how your workplace runs.
How do I tag a day as WFH, Sick, or Annual Leave?
Expand the day card and tap a tag chip. You can edit, rename, or add new tags in Settings → Tags.
Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere — see the privacy policy for the full statement. This also means that if you uninstall FlexTally, your data is permanently gone. There is no cloud backup.
Can I sync between devices?
No. FlexTally is intentionally a single-device app with no cloud component. That's what keeps it private and free of subscriptions.
My flex balance looks wrong. What do I check?
Open Settings → Work Schedule. Three things drive the calculation: your daily required hours, whether the period is weekly or fortnightly, and the period start date. Adjusting any of these recalculates the current period.
How do I change the colour or theme?
Settings → Appearance. Choose Light, Dark, or Auto (which follows your iPhone's system setting), and pick an accent colour. Changes apply instantly.
Will there be an Android version?
Not currently planned. FlexTally is iOS-only for the foreseeable future.
Will there ever be a subscription?
No. FlexTally is a one-time download with no in-app purchases, no premium tier, and no subscription. What you download is what you get.
